EBRO ARMATUREN, headquartered in Hagen, Germany, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial valves, actuators and automation technology. With our international network of production plants, subsidiaries and representatives we are always close to the customer. Excellent expertise combined with high-quality products makes us an internationally acknowledged partner of the machine and plant engineering sector.
We offer customized solutions for almost every individual application. By developing and producing our own actuators, we can guarantee an optimal matching with the valves. Furthermore, we are able to react flexibly and quickly to special market requirements for offering individually developed solutions to our clients. Under the umbrella of the Bröer Group our product range is broadened by high-class knife gate valves produced by our Swedish subsidiary Stafsjö Valves AB, one of the leading suppliers in this sector.
Worldwide more than 900 employees in 29 countries stand behind the Bröer Group. In the 2017 financial year a turnover of 141 million Euro was generated.
EBRO has a full range of valves developed for tough abrasive slurry and other related process media such as sludge and process water.
Our valves for slurry handling covers several pressure classes making the range complete for both the processing plant as well for the tailing system. Our slurry valve SLV is typically used in the sizing process on cyclones, as isolation valve around slurry pumps or tanks.
For light slurry, sludge and process water the WB and MV range becomes useful with their precise characteristics to cut off the flow and to secure a tight shut-off and no discharge. The MV is also available in stainless steel and suitable for underground operations with water of low pH.
High operating pressures and extreme temperatures - wherever other valves reach their physical limits, this series is the ideal solution. The double eccentric design of the valve disc, high-quality materials and outstanding workmanship ensure safety even in extreme conditions of use. Different sealing systems enable an optimal solution for the respective field of application.
Stafsjö’s knife gate valve MV is used within many different fields of applications. The valve has a gate with a bevel edge that effectively cuts through different media. In closed position the gate is pushed onto the seat which gives a tight and reliable sealing. This special shut-off technique makes the MV valve suitable for both fluids and dry media such as pulp, sludge, biomass, powder and different kinds of waste.
