STEINERT has two main lines of equipment: magnetic separation and sensor separation. Solutions for different applications, as mining, recycling, slag, waste, and others.
STEINERT Latinoamericana, a subsidiary of the German company STEINERT GmbH, is responsible to attend all Latin America market.
STEINERT`s portfolio comprises two main lines of equipment: magnetic separation and sensor separation equipment. As specialists in separation processes, our solutions can be used in different applications, such as pre-concentration of ore in mining plants, coal beneficiation, scrap separation and recovery of metals from slag in steel plants, recycling of various materials such as plastics , electronic scrap, urban waste, among others.
STEINERT also has an after sales structure and a laboratory for testing, which greatly streamlines the process and allows us to respond quickly to the diverse demands of our customers in Latin America.
As part of the STEINERT GmbH Group, a company with almost 130 years of experience providing material separation solutions for various markets, STEINERT Latinoamericana was born with the DNA that made it the world's leading supplier of separation technologies.

There are many ways of improving recovery processes for a wide variety of ores using sorting equipment. At STEINERT we always take the same approach: sorting waste rock and ore with low concentrations out from the process at an early stage to save energy and resources and to unlock more enriched ore more effectively.
Some solutions for your requirements:
UME = electromagnetic overhead suspension magnet
Extensive magnetic field for extraction operation
Self-cleaning
Without oil filling with passive or active air cooling
Working widths of 750 – 1,800 mm
X-ray sorting system is used for dry density sorting. A transmitting procedure detects material-dependent differences in the absorption of x-rays then classifies and uses them for sorting into density classes.
XSS T = x-ray sorting system with transmission
Uses the dual-energy principle for detection, discerns material-specific differences in density
Grain sizes: 10 – 200 mm
Working widths: 1,000 mm, 1,200 mm, 2,000 mm
Semi-mobile STEINERT XSS with 1,000 mm working width in a 40” container
Our STEINERT KSS FL colour sorting system is equipped with an RGB line scan camera and 3D detection. Up to 16.8 million colour values can be distinguished.
KSS FL = combination sensor sorting system with colour camera and 3D detection
Single object evaluation at high throughputs
Sorting using colour information and shape factors
Working widths: 1,000 mm, 2,000 mm, 3,000 mm
