In over 3 decades SCHWING gained experiences in the field of hydrostatically driven piston pumps for high-density solids applications.Field of application: Industrial and Mining Sectors for example "Mine Dewatering", "Paste Backfilling", "Fly Ash'', "Drilling Mud", "Oil Sludges", "Red Mud" and municiple sewage sludge projects.
Tailings with a concentration with high solids are being pumped as backfill material into Gold Mines.

Large quantities of material, wide pumping range, 24h continuous operation: exactly the right task for the KSP 315 from SCHWING. With a maximum of 12 strokes per minute, in continuous operation it pumps up to 230 m³ of material per hour with a low level of wear, and with the well-known reliability of SCHWING sludge pumps.
