Detroit Power System Peru has a staff of engineers highly trained by the MTU for the development of replacement projects for mining trucks, earthmoving equipment, locomotives and boats.We have achieved successful repowering for Hauling, Dresser, Euclid, Komatsu, Terex, and Lectra Haul trucks, likewise, repowering has been carried out for electric trucks with 4000 Series engines, the same ones that have been operating at more than 4000 masl in the most important copper mines in Peru and where they have obtained high levels of availability.
DPSP has a staff specialized in the design of energy solutions with diesel and natural gas generator sets; and energy storage (BESS) MTU.

GENSETS AND BATERY ENERGY STORE SYSTEM
Detroit Power System Peru offers reserve power through generator sets and batteries, which have been manufactured under the highest international quality standards such as: UL-2200, IBC, NFPA 110-10. Our equipment portfolio covers diesel and gas generators from 30 to 3250 kW; as well as batteries for energy storage.
Repair and maintenance of high power engines
We carry out the maintenance and repair of high power engines.
SPSP has a 6,000 m2 workshop. We offer high quality repairs ensuring a longer engine life and availability. We have a first level service infrastructure that includes ISO 9001 certified workshops, a digital dynamometer for engines up to 4500 Hp, bridge cranes, mobile units, equipment and special tools.
